Bob and Angie, Owners

Dog N Duck

Your hosts, Bob Clark and his lovely wife Angie, take great pride in ensuring that all of their guests enjoy a comfortable and memorable stay. From the moment you arrive you will be in good hands. With everything from the world class hunting to the exceptional lodging and delicious gourmet meals, it is no wonder that some of their guests have been coming back for 10 plus years.

Outfitter, Bob Clark, has been hunting ducks and geese in this area for over 35 years, including 25 years of guiding/outfitting experience. Bob takes great pride in hosting only one group at a time, maximum six per group. This ensures personalized service, exclusive use of the lodge and the best possible hunting opportunities each and every day.

Angie always enjoys hosting guests and preparing gourmet meals for our hunters. Her bubbly personality and welcoming smile are a complement to her skills in preparing first class meals each and every day. No matter if it is breakfast, lunch or supper, Angie’s culinary treats never disappoint. Fresh baked bread, buns and desserts are a daily staple. For hunters with dietary restrictions, Angie is more than happy to plan her meals accordingly.

Mark, Guide

Mark has been guiding hunters since 2002 when the business began and in 2015 Mark was recognized by Alberta Professional Outfitters Society as Waterfowl Guide of the Year. Mark and Bob grew up hunting waterfowl in the region with their fathers and have been hunting together ever since with the addition of his black lab puppy, Lucy, in 2017, the two of them complement one another and make a terrific pair. Mark’s experience, personality and attention to detail are an invaluable asset to the Dog ‘n Duck team. Mark aims to please on every hunt and has proven this time and time again.

Steve, Guide

Steve joined the Dog ‘n Duck team in 2015 and with his hunting experience and knowledge of the area, Steve proved he has what it takes to be a successful guide. His pleasant personality and passion for waterfowl hunting are complemented by his amazing Labrador retriever, Sidney. Sidney and Steve continue to tear up the NAHRA hunt test circuit and at age 2, Sidney has already amassed an impressive collection of NAHRA ribbons. These two make a deadly team, and they prove it with limit shoots on a regular basis.
